NEW YORK

New York, known as “The Capital of the World” and also as “The Big Apple”, is one of the most important economic and cultural centers in the world. New York is home to the United Nations Headquarters, for which it is awarded greater relevance than other large cities in the world.

New York is a financial and economic center and it is home to the United States Stock Market. It was also home to the tragically disappeared World Trade Center, where the famous Twin Towers stood until 2001.

As cultural and entertainment center, it has countless monuments of great historical and cultural value, such as the Statue of Liberty, the Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, among others. It also has very important museums, such as the Museum of Modern Art, MOMA, the center of theater productions (Broadway), and parks, green lungs of the city, such as Central Park. Gastronomy constitutes one of New York’s greatest attractions due to the diversity of its restaurants, which offer menus from all over the world.
