Chicago despite it’s the largest city in the state of Illinois, it’s not the capital, however Chicago has 3 million inhabitants in a metropolitan area and it has international recognition which makes it a much more famous and attractive city to visit. Chicago is a city of continental climate located just north-west of the USA, also located next to the impressive Lake Michigan.

Chicago is also the city of skyscrapers, since being a relatively modern city it incorporated these types of buildings right away. Its first, the Willis Tower skyscraper is the tallest and most famous, but Chicago has 1,100 skyscrapers. Walking through this modern city can sometimes create a feeling of abyss, as one can feel very small in the middle of the gigantic buildings.
